Hospital photo sessions are held in Cork Maternity Hospital on arrival of your little one.
Capturing the first few hours of your new Baby’s journey in life with a short and sweet 30 minute session.
This session is a luxury, very simple and very relaxed.
Held at your bedside, Baby will stay within a cuddles reach of Parents and cradled with care throughout our time together.
To care for your Family a small offering of these Hospital Sessions will be available. Booking in advance is compulsory.
My aim is to capture some moments of Baby asleep in their cot, some blanket swaddling, tiny toes and fingers, crinkly noses, big yawns and little legs, Family photos with some snuggles and if Siblings are attending we’ll definitely work our magic here to capture their first meeting!
This session includes:
Up to 30 minutes photo session, held during visiting hours at CUMH, your session will be held between 4-6pm
Family photos and Siblings (first meeting maybe!)
Simple Baby led photos
A gentle info-guide for both you and baby
Experienced, relaxed and professional service
1 digital image
10 of your favourite images printed 6×4 in size, delivered in a keepsake pocket to love and cherish forever

Where and when are these sessions held? After giving brith or during labour?
These sessions are held in Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH), and photographed after giving birth, when you’re back in your room and ready for visitors. On booking, I’ll suggest you pass my contact details over to your partner, when your back to your room pop me a message to let me know and I’ll be in touch by text message or email to confirm a time for your photoshoot the following day.
When should I book? What if my baby is early or late arriving?
To care for each Family, a small offering of these Hospital Sessions will be available per month. It is compulsory to book in advance of your baby’s arrival. I recommend booking from week 20 of your pregnancy to secure a session.
On booking I take note of your due date and wait to hear from you after that. If your Baby arrives early or late or right on time I’ll be here!
We don’t want to be included in the photoshoot. Can we only get photos of the baby?
Yes, no problem at all. I’m happy to photograph your little one and capture all I can during our time together. It can be nice to include Parents hands too, maybe something to consider.
Can we include our older child?
Absolutely yes, it can be lovely to capture Siblings meeting for the very first time!
Can we include Grandparents?
Please contact the Hospital to enquire about visiting restrictions at the time.
Will you be wearing a mask and sanitising your hands?
I most definitely will be sanitising my hands, but I will also try to keep contact with baby to a minimum. I’m happy to wear a mask on request.
